Kingston upon Thames is the principal settlement of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames in southwest London. It was the ancient market town where Saxon kings were crowned and is now a suburb situated 10 miles (16.1 km) south west of Charing Cross.

In particular the Isabella plantation and Pembridge Lodge are two points of interest within the park that are fantastic for a walk and a breath of fresh air. Hampton Court Palace and Wimbledon are both easily accessible from Kingston and both are well worth a visit for guests staying in the area.
