Bournemouth
Bournemouth is a large coastal town in the borough of Bournemouth, England. It is the largest town on the south coast and the largest settlement between Southampton and Plymouth.Bournemouth is 105 miles (169km) southwest of London and, although it is on the coast, the centre of the town lies inland. The commercial and civil heart of the town being The Square. From the Square the Upper and Lower Pleasure Gardens descend to the seafront and the pier.
With approximately 7 miles of beaches and plenty of restaurants and bars Bournemouth is a great place, packed with activities to suit everyone. The walk from Bournemouth pier to Boscombe Pier or vice versa is particularly enjoyable. The Russell-Cotes Art Gallery & Museum has a brilliant collection of art and the Bournemouth International Centre and Pavillion Theatre both offer a wide range of live entertainment. It is extremely important to note that any trip to Bournemouth would not be complete without a traditional English High Tea at one of the many tea shops in the town.
