Chelsea

Chelsea once had a reputation as London's bohemian quarter, the haunt of artists, radicals, painters and poets. Little of this seems to survive now – the comfortable squares off King's Road are homes to, amongst others, investment bankers and film stars, and more recently the pop singer Kylie Minogue.
The King’s road, traditionally associated with 1960s style, and fashion figures such as Mary Quant and Vivienne Westwood runs for about 2 miles through the heart of Chelsea. Today it is renowned for its excellent shopping including many well known brands and some fantastic independent boutiques. There are also plenty of high quality restaurants and bars where one can sample the world famous London nightlife.
The area is served by a number of tube stations including Sloane Square, South Kensington, Earls Court, and Fulham Broadway. With over 7 different bus routes serving the area, Chelsea has excellent transport links.
