Corporate Guests Choose Serviced Apartments

1st March 2012

When travelling on business, staying in a hotel can be one of the most costly and tiring aspects of the trip. Business travellers are frequently short of space to relax or unwind, and the locations of suitable hotels are often unsuitable.

When presented with the option, corporate travellers are choosing serviced apartments over hotels time and time again, as news of the benefits spread. Serviced apartments come equipped with everything you need to live away from home. At the end of a hard day's work corporate guests can cook their own meals and relax in a private lounge, instead of being forced to stay in a cramped hotel room.

January 2012 saw a decrease in hotel bookings by 1.6% compared with the previous year, whereas the serviced apartment sector continues to experience steady growth. Despite the slight drop in bookings within the hotel sector, a large volume of bookings still come from corporate travellers. The percentage of corporate bookings is expected to increase in the next quarter once the conference season gets into full swing.

London serviced apartments proved a popular option for recent conferences held in the capital, including Business 2012 and The Business Travel Show.

Hotels vs. Serviced Apartments

February 21st 2012

Many people will plan their holiday or business trip and make sure to choose the best hotel within their budget. Unfortunately hotels can be expensive and any additional space comes at a premium price. Choosing a serviced apartment not only allows you more space, but also gives you the freedom to cook and relax somewhere with all the creature comforts of home.

All of our serviced apartments have fully equipped kitchens, stocked with everything you need to cook up a storm – from pots and pans to bottle openers and chef's knives. Having your own kitchen means you have the choice between cooking you own meals and treating yourself to a meal out as your budget allows.

The nightly cost of staying in a serviced apartment is often cheaper than choosing a hotel, and for longer stays the cost per night decreases dramatically – while you still enjoy more space, freedom and privacy!

The lower cost is due to a number of factors. Serviced apartment complexes usually do not have restaurants or 24 hour staff, which keeps the costs down. Don't forget that you save in other areas too! Where you would usually pay inflated bills for internet connectivity, hotel restaurants and laundry service, all of these are included in your stay in a serviced apartment.

For a large group travelling together, serviced accommodation is the perfect solution! Whether you are travelling for business or pleasure, sharing an apartment allows you to keep costs down and stay together as a group, whilst still enjoying luxurious surroundings in a convenient location.

If you would like to enquire about any of our serviced apartments, please contact our friendly reservations team!
