Broad Street Shopping Mall is directly opposite the McIlroy Building Apartments. For the nature enthusiasts, Forbury Gardens, a nationally acclaimed Victorian formal garden, is the town’s floral heart. The gardens lead you to the ruins of Reading Abbey, an ancient monument and setting for open air theatre in the summer months. Wander through the ruins to the Kennet and Avon Canal, strolling past Reading Gaol and the Oscar Wilde gates.

Reading train station is a five minute walk; where First Great Western operates services to Slough, Oxford and London Paddington, with South West Trains operating services to Basingstoke, Bracknell and Wokingham.
