Nestled in the centre of London the West End is most famous for its large number of theatre’s. Along with Broadway it is considered one of the best locations in the English speaking world for plays and musicals. There are a wide array of restaurants, cafes, shops and bars all within walking distance of our serviced apartments, catering to all tastes.
Both Regents Park and Hyde Park are close by and numerous other popular tourist attractions including Madam Tussards and London Zoo. No matter what length of stay a walk in one of London’s royal park’s is essential. Hyde Park, once a hunting ground of King Henry VIII is now slightly more peaceful with Tai Chi taking place in the mornings, and during the summer months hosts the Serpentine Gallery. Regent’s Park is home to the largest grass area for sport in Central London, and also regularly hosts open air theatre performances. For art lovers both the National Gallery and the Royal academy are nearby.
The London Central Mosque (also known as the Islamic Cultural Centre, ICC or Regent's Park Mosque) is located near Marylebone station, the Baker Street Underground station, Regent's Park and Lords cricket ground in the City of Westminster, central north London, England. It was designed by Sir Frederick Gibberd, completed in 1978, and has a prominent golden dome.
With excellent transport links including the Bakerloo, Jubilee, Hammersmith & City and Circle Lines all other areas of London are within easy access. Along with numerous public bus services and with an easy commute to Paddington over ground station public transport links in the area are excellent.
Not far from London’s world famous Oxford Street the West End is an excellent base for shopaholics, art lovers and theatre goers alike.
